Irfamina - The name Itself

Irfamina has been derived from the names of two very sacred places of Muslims. The first part was borrowed from ARAFAT and the later from MINA. The name was coined by the founder & CEO Mian Javaid Iqbal.

Maidan-e-Arafat is located 20km southeast of Holy Makkah. It is the place where our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) delivered the Khutba Hujjatul Wida. Apart from this, this is the place where the pilgrims spend the 9th day of Zil Hajj as this is the most important part of Hajj.

MINA is a place located 8km southeast of Holy Makkah. Before heading towards ARAFAT the pilgrims stay at MINA for several nights. This is the place where stoning of the devil is performed by pilgrims as part  of the pilgrimage.

The name IRFAMINA was started with the letter “I” instead of “A” of ARAFAT. This was intentionally done. The founder being a thorough Muslim did not want to divide the holy name ARAFAT in two parts so he deliberately started the name IRFAMINA with “I” instead of “A”. The second part of IRFAMINA was affixed as it is thus MINA remained the complete word. This is how the name “IRFAMINA” came into being.

Since the roots of the name of the company come from the names of Highly sacred places, the management from the very day of incorporation of the company has given its best to conduct fair business allowing no room for false commitments and dishonesty.
